The USB extension adapter allows you to extend the USB connection up to 40 metres using a CAT cable (Ethernet cable). This solution is ideal if you need to connect a USB device over longer distances, for example in offices or home installations, without compromising signal quality. The adapter consists of a transmitter and receiver module that are connected to each other via a CAT5e or CAT6 cable. It supports plug-and-play, so no additional software is required. Perfect for use with printers, cameras or other USB devices that need to be placed further away from the host computer.
